Board Member Round Table
The Board Member Roundtable is a networking group for members of nonprofit boards of directors. This is a wonderful opportunity for nonprofit board members to come together and discuss the development of boards. It is a forum for the exchange of ideas and best practices and a great opportunity to network, promote professionalism and enhance board leadership skills. Board Member Roundtable meetings are held bi-monthly from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm at The Volunteer Center, 58 Division Street, Danbury.

"Understanding the board building cycle helps us realize what it takes to have a healthy, productive board. Because of your session; we have refreshed our board member orientation book and reviewed/discussed it during our strategic planning session. We are currently working on improving step #5: Involve. We are finding what interest each board member has and aligning them with committees."

"I had a great time at the Board Member Roundtable discussion last evening. It is a wonderful way to network with other board members and discuss common challenges and common successes. I always like the ideas that people share and I have a goal to take away at least one to implement (either with my board or my business). I have attended 2 or 3 of these sessions and found that our board's ups and downs are similar to others. I have connected with other Board Members and started building relationships with them to see if we have synergies to share or build upon."
