"Voluntary Services for the Blind has consistenly received excellent volunteer referrals from the Volunteer Center. The staff is very friendly and helpful and fully appreciates our needs."
Claudette A. Tallon
Volunteer Coordinator

"Patti's [Cohen-Hecht] endless energy and contagious enthusiasm for working with volunteers really helped me to understand the concepts presented in the Volunteer Center's volunteer management training series. I especially appreciated her interactive teaching style and the opportunity to network with other volunteer coordinators in the community. I've applied the knowledge to my position as volunteer coordinator, and I'm happy to report that I am actively engaging and retaining wonderful volunteers to work with the families we serve—and in numerous capacities."
Rebecca Blonski, Volunteer Coordinator, Families Network of Western CT, Inc.

"The New Fairfield Senior Center has appreciated the opportunity to work with the Volunteer Center. Posting volunteer opportunities has been made very convenient. We've heard from a number of people. Currently we have a student helping here who found us through the site."
Kathy Hull, New Fairfield Senior Center

"We very much appreciate the help of the Volunteer Center in coming to our aid last fall  during our Barn Sale. Through your assistance we obtained two young men to direct and oversee our parking lot throughout the sale. These young men were courteous , very efficient, diligent, and during two very long, hot days never complained. It was truly a wonderful service to us. Thank you."
